WannaDate? Community Guidelines

WannaDate? is an 18+ inclusive social dating platform. These guidelines keep our community respectful, honest, and safe, and they apply to every member.
WHO THESE GUIDELINES APPLY TO
These Community Guidelines apply to everyone who uses WannaDate?, on and off the platform where your conduct affects other members. They are part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service (/terms-of-service), Online Dating Safety Policy (/online-dating-safety), Anti-Trafficking Policy (/anti-trafficking), and Safety Guidelines (/safety). If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
BE RESPECTFUL
Treat every member with kindness and respect. No harassment, hate speech, threats, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic. WannaDate? is inclusive and welcomes adults of all backgrounds and orientations.
BE HONEST
Use accurate, recent photos of yourself and truthful profile information. No impersonation, catfishing, fake profiles, or misrepresenting your age or identity. Romance scams, financial fraud, phishing, and social-engineering attempts are strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.
NO PAID OR TRANSACTIONAL DATING
WannaDate? has zero tolerance for paid dating in any form. You may not offer, solicit, request, advertise, or exchange money, gifts, allowances, or other consideration in return for companionship, time, intimacy, dates, or attendance at a date. This includes escorting, prostitution, "sugar" arrangements, allowances, pay-per-meet ("PPM"), and gifts-for-time.
WannaDate? charges platform-access fees only (tokens and Premium), applied when a date request is accepted. We do not facilitate, arrange, broker, process, track, or endorse any payment between users. A profile's Date Style Level (1–5) describes how upscale or casual a member prefers a date to feel — it is not money, a price, or a fee, and may be left blank.
In-app chat is for logistics only — planning safe, lawful meetups (time, place, and safety). Do not use messages to negotiate money, gifts, allowances, or services between users.
NO SOLICITATION, EXPLOITATION, OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
Do not use WannaDate? to solicit, advertise, or facilitate prostitution, escorting, or sexual services; to engage in human trafficking, coercion, or exploitation of any person; or for any other illegal activity. Everyone on WannaDate? must be an adult (18 or older). Any content or conduct involving a minor is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law. RESPECT CONSENT AND PRIVACY
Only upload content you have the right to share, and only of adults who have consented to appear. Never share sexual or intimate imagery of another person without their consent, and never share someone else's private information. Sexual harassment and non-consensual conduct violate this policy and applicable criminal law.
BE SAFE
Keep early conversations on-platform, meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, and arrange your own transportation. WannaDate? does not conduct criminal background checks on members — read our Safety Guidelines (/safety) and Online Dating Safety Policy (/online-dating-safety) before meeting anyone in person.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Follow through on commitments, communicate clearly, and respect other members' time and boundaries. Don't spam, scrape, or misuse platform features, and don't attempt to evade blocks, suspensions, or bans with duplicate accounts.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
Share referral codes only with people you genuinely know. Do not spam codes in DMs, post them on coupon websites, or use misleading claims. If you may earn a reward for a public referral, disclose that clearly, consistent with the FTC endorsement guides. Abuse may result in revoked rewards and account action. REPORTING AND ENFORCEMENT
If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, use the in-app report tools on any profile, chat, or message, visit our report page (/report), or email [email protected]. You can block any member at any time.
Depending on severity, violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, warnings, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban of your account and any associated accounts. Serious matters — including trafficking, exploitation, or conduct involving minors — are escalated to law enforcement. If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you may use our Appeals & Takedown (/appeals-takedown) process.
